TV5 GETS THE TOP SPOT ON WEEKENDS

AT THE ‘MY DRIVER SWEET LOVER’ presscon, TV5 exec Perci Intalan proudly announced that they’re now the number one station on Saturday and Sunday. “We have very strong primetime programming on weekends,” he says. “The AGB Nielsen ratings showed we got a 32% share on Saturday besting out the other networks. Nag-number one agad in its slot ang new show ni Vic Sotto with Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola na ‘Laugh or Lose’ getting 30.9% at tinalo mga kasabay nito kaya tuwang-tuwa si Bossing.”

“We all feel good dahil sa ganda ng mga feedback sa show at sa taas ng rating nito, sana abutin ito ng maraming taon sa ere,” says Vic.

It’s clear that Vic is the king of TV5. But what happens when Willie Revillame’s daily show starts? Will he be the new “Hari ng TV 5”? “Iisa lang ang hari ng TV5 and that’s big boss Manny Pangilinan,” says Vic who’s also busy shooting “Agimat ni Enteng”. “Wala kaming personal na away ni Willie at trabaho lang ang lahat.”
