GMA Tween Stars fever spreading fast

WHEN THE TWEEN Hearts stars do a mall tour, handler Jena Salvador gets worried as thousands of fans flock to the venue to mob them, so security men are always around for crowd control. Jena says: “Nagkakagulo talaga pag may personal appearance sila. Grabeng hatak nila lalo sa young crowd. Maaga pa lang, nakaabang na ang fans ng JoshBie at JaBea love teams nina Joshua Dionisio-Barbie Forteza at Jake Vargas-Bea Binene. Kung minsan, 4 PM ang call time, merong pagbukas pa lang ng mall, nag-aabang na and they wait patiently.”

What can Joshua say about the fan reaction to them? “Siempre ang sarap ng feeling,” he says. “I never thought magkakaroon ako ng ganitong karaming fans. Salamat sa suporta nila sa’min ni Barbie.”

“Ibang level na ito kasi when we started, ang konti lang nila, but now, sobrang dami na,” says Barbie. “May fans na kahit saang mall kami magpunta, sumusunod talaga sila. At dahil sa kanila, maganda ang ratings ng ‘Tween Hearts’ every Sunday afternoon. We’d also like to thank our director, Gina Alajar, as she’s the one who guides us to make sure magaling ang acting namin in each episode.”

They have a special gift to their fans on Christmas Day. “We’ll be in our first movie,” says Joshua. “Kasama kami nina Sen. Bong Revilla at Bossing Vic Sotto sa Metro filmfest entry na ‘Agimat sa Mundo ni Enteng Kabisote’. So abangan nyo yan sa Pasko dahil first time nyo kaming makikita sa big screen.”
