Janno Gibbs returns after reported bout with depression

JANNO GIBBS was interviewed in “Showbiz Central” last Sunday after he returned to “Party Pilipinas”. When asked if it’s true he was missing for several weeks due to depression, he made fun of it. “Yes, na-depress ako kasi ikakasal na sina Ogie at Regine,” he said. It’s said he kept to himself most of the time. “Ganun talaga ko, tahimik lang, di masyadong nakikipag-usap, loner.” It’s also sad he got depressed because his family has separated from him. “Nag-bonding nga ako with Bing (Loyzaga) and our two daughters kasi wala akong pasok. But I kept in touch with my fans sa Facebook.”

So why was he away for two months? “Nag-rest lang ako. Nagpapayat kasi wala ng kasya sa aking pants. Nagpa-fresh lang ako.” His co-hosts Jaya, Ogie and Regine declared in the interview that they missed him and are happy to see him back. Janno came to the studio at 10 AM, unlike before when he was late so he’s no longer allowed to join in the production numbers since he wasn’t able to rehearse with the rest of the stars. Many think it’s the reason why he sulked and didn’t show up for sometime. “Unfair naman dun sa mga maaga dumarating at nag-rehearse nang husto kung kahit lagi siyang late, papayagan pa siya to perform,” someone tells us. “E, siguro, na-realize niyang he has to comply like everyone else and he won’t be given special treatment kaya bumalik din siya.”
