“We both have strong personalities. We both have a temper,” adds Jon.
“Dito kasi, quiet lang ako,” says Michelle. “Sa island, I exploded. He saw the real me at yun na yun, wala ng ibang ilalabas pa. Now, we’re closer to each other.”
What do they think of Jon’s ex, Aubrey Miles, who worked against both of them? “She knows how to manipulate people and it’s not her fault that it’s easy to convince the other castaways to just follow her, lalo si Ervic Vijandre na lagi siyang sinusunod. She said many things against us on TV, pinersonal kami. Tapos ng mag-sorry siya, sa Twitter lang and I felt it’s plastic, hindi sincere. We saw each other sa birthday ni Tita Annabelle Rama and it’s so easy na kausapin ako doon but she didn’t. She wants the whole world to know she’s saying sorry, but not personally to me.”
What does Jon think about this? “During the game, I’m aggressive, I’m competitive, and I respect everyone who acted the same. But after the game, tapos na dapat yun. What annoys me is when she’s interviewed and she continues to make comments about us that’s uncalled for and have nothing to do with the game. I won’t go into details anymore as I don’t want to stoop to her level.”
“One instance is yung she still talked about their breakup, which was 7 years ago at dapat, di na pinag-uusapan pa,” says Michelle.
There are 7 remaining castaways: Aubrey, Ervic, Akihiro Sato, Ahron Villena, Yaya Moi, Elma Muros, and Solenn Heussaff. Who do they think should win? “Nanay Elma,” says Michelle. “Sila nina Aki and Moi ang may chance kasi they’re all likeable. They say Aki’s being nice is just a strategy, but I think he’s honest and sincere, mabait siya talaga. Kasi if that’s put on, you can’t maintain that for long. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.”
Michelle is on the cover of FHM for November with sister Ehra. What does Jon think of her sexy poses? “She’s not wearing enough clothes,” he says. “But it’s nice, very sexy, maganda.”
