There’s now much interest in Liz, a fashion magazine editor who comes from a well to do Chinese family. She went steady with John Lloyd Cruz for more than two years and were also romantically involved with now Hongkong-based model Francis Ricafort (brother of LJ Moreno) and a Frenchman named Ben Wintle who was her constant date early this year. They were more or less of her age (28), unlike the 50-year old Noynoy who’s old enough to be her dad. It was Kris who recommended her to be Noy’s stylist during the campaign and she was even featured in the film “Noy” while working on the looks of the would-be president, supervising his clothes and grooming. She has plenty of showbiz friends, including Anne Curtis, Ruffa and Raymond Gutierrez, and appears in a shampoo TV commercial with Georgina Wilson, another friend. She has always kept a low profile and even during her romance with John Lloyd, she was never persuaded to talk about him and, later, their split up. She’s active in Twitter but she never answers any question pertaining the president.
As for Shalani, there’s now an attempt to romantically link her with Willie Revillame, who’s been married twice, first to Princess Punzalan then to Liz Almoro. Willie is making overtures to her in “Willing-Willie” which can be taken as a joke. But still, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
