RAYMART SANTIAGO says the rumor his marriage to Claudine Barretto is on the rocks is simply ridiculous. “I really don’t know kung bakit gusto nila kaming paghiwalayin,” he says in ‘Showbiz Central’. “Noong una kaming matsismis na ganyan, we just laughed about it. But it’s no longer amusing. Kawawa naman ang asawa ko kasi sunod-sunod ang issues against her and now, they even want to break up our marriage. Sorry to disappoint them but our relationship remains as solid as ever. We’re doing everything to work on our marriage, like seeking counselling to help us sort our differences. And with the Lord’s help, we’re succeeding na mapanatiling maganda ang pagsasama namin. Demonyo lang ang makakapaghiwalay sa amin.”
At the taping of “Bantatay” in Subic, Raymart said he’s thankful that the show remains number one in its slot. His kids (Krystal Reyes and Renz Valerio) are reunited but they are forced to work in a ranch. Raymart as Bantay acquires healing powers and cures other pets, including Lian the Puppy who he helps find his own mom. Meantime, Jennica Garcia as Joanna regains her sight with the help of Carl Guevarra and her new rich suitor, Prince Estefan. “Lalabas ngayong gabi si Claudine sa show,” says Raymart. “She’ll play the role of Doc Sheila, a veterinarian, so don’t miss her special appearance.”
