SHAKE RATTLE & ROLL PROMISES TO BE MORE SCARY THAN ALL THE PAST ONES

TWO NEW DIRECTORS debut in Regal’s Metro filmfest trilogy, “Shake, Rattle & Roll XII”, actor Zoren Legaspi and indie filmmaker Jerrold Tarog, along with Topel Lee who just megged Regal’s Halloween hit, “White House”. Zoren directs “Mamanyika”, the episode about a girl with a doll that turns out to be evil and kills people, with Shaina Magdayao and Ricky Davao. Jerrold, best known for his acclaimed works “Confessional” and “Mangatyanan”, megs “Punerarya”, about a family that owns a funeral parlor where they make sumptuous dishes from cadavers, with Carla Abellana, Sid Lucero, Mart Escudero and child actor Nash Aguas who won best child actor for the “Yaya” episode of “Shake X”. Topel directs “Isla Engkanto”, a suspense-thriller combining horror and fantasy, with Andi Eigenmann, Rayver Cruz, John Lapus and Regine Angeles. “Each new edition of ‘Shake, Rattle and Roll’ surpasses the previous ones,” says Mother Lily who produces this with daughter Roselle Monteverde-Teo. “That’s why it has become a tradition for moviegoers to watch out for the newest ‘Shake’ movie come Christmas Day. This time, we promise them three terrifying stories in the 12th ‘Shake’ film with state-of-the-art special effects guaranteed to give them a good scare.”
