ANGELIKA DE LA Cruz was interviewed in “Showbiz Central” about the blast that rocked their home in Malabon on the night of Dec. 18. She suspects it has something to do with politics as her dad, Ernie, has been receiving death threats since he won as barangay captain in their place. “May mga tao lang na heartless talaga at nagiging masaya kapag nagugulo nila ang kapwa nila,” says Angelika who was out taping for GMA-7’s “Dwarfina” when it happened. The pillbox bombed thrown at them damaged the gate of their house and cracked the tiles on the flooring. “It’s good my younger brother, Eric, who was standing there earlier with some friends, have already left the place kundi nasaktan sila.” As of this writing, some suspects have been apprehended by the cops investigating the case.
