BEFORE THE premiere night screening of “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote”, the trailers of forthcoming GMA-7 shows for 2011 were shown and it’s really quite an impressive lineup. There’s the Regine Velasquez and Dingdong Dantes wacky musical comedy “I Heart You Pare”, Marian Rivera’s sprawling big-budgeted costume epic “Amaya”, Heart Evangelista and Dennis Trillo’s “Dwarfina”, Aljur Abrenica unabashed display of his chiselled physique in “Machete” and Richard Gutierrez fresh new take on “Captain Barbell” (with a new and more impressive costume). As for “Machete”, many people noticed that Aljur’s loin cloth is too big and wide, almost reaching up to his knees, prompting one viewer to comment: “Mukha siyang naka-saya.” Maybe they should make it smaller so it won’t look ridiculous on Aljur.
