Sen. Bong Revilla says Sam Pinto is very promising

SEN. BONG REVILLA has a new leading lady in “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote”, former PBB housemate Sam Pinto. Rumor has it that he’s wooing her. “Naku, sanay na ko sa ganyang tsismis basta may bago kong kapareha,” he says at the third presscon of their filmfest entry where he raffled off cash prizes. “Maganda si Sam, very promising ang acting, but I’m now celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary with my wife Lani Mercado, so pass na ko sa mga ganyan.”

“It’s really an honor and I’m flattered na makasama si Sen. Bong,” Sam says. “Feeling ko nga, I’m so lucky kasi my first filmfest movie ko, siyang kapareha ko and I’m sure surefire hit ito.”

She’s glad she’s not just an ornament in ‘Si Agimat’. “Maganda ang role ko and I also get to do a lot of stunts and fight scenes. May flying scenes pa ko on harness. It’s hard but it’s worth it.”

While with ABS, she was linked to Jake Cuenca, co-PBB housemate Paul Jake and Gerald Anderson. “Yung kay Jake, it’s because I said he wooed me bago pa ko nag-showbiz. Kay Paul Jake, not true kasi may non-showbiz girlfriend siya. Kay Gerald, nakakagulat. I was just asked who my crush is, I said Gerald, tapos nagalit na sa’kin fans nila ni Kim Chiu at ginagamit ko raw siya para makilala. So now, when they ask me kung crush ko si Sen. Bong, ayoko na sumagot, mamaya sabihin na naman, ginagamit ko siya.”

A second year fashion design major at St. Benilde, she turned 20 on Sept. 11 and admits she has had four BF’s before she joined showbiz. “Two months ang shortest at two years ang longest BF ko. Now, work muna ang focus ko. Busy rin po ako sa GMA in ‘Bubble Gang’.”
