Bangs Garcia is Vhong Navarro's object of desire

BANGS GARCIA is beaming at the presscon of “Bulong”. “Magandang pasok sa’kin ng bagong taon,” she says. “On TV, I’m doing drama in ‘Kristine’ and heto, kasama ko sa first movie ng Star Cinema, ‘Bulong’. Sana magtuloy-tuloy yung sunod-sunod na projects ko for the rest of 2011.”

Her first movie, “Cinco”, was a horror flick. “Bale magkasunod na horror movies nga ang ginawa ko. The difference is that one episode lang yung ginawa ko sa ‘Cinco’ with Pokwang at itong ‘Bulong’, full length film na. Mas may challenge, lalo na nga’t established stars na ang dalawang kasama kong sina Vhong Navarro at Angelica Panganiban. First time ko silang nakasama and I’m glad mababait sila at parehong mahusay kaya mai-inspire ka to give your best. Add to that fact na ang director namin is the respected Chito Rono na talaga namang dream kong makatrabaho so it’s no wonder ‘Bulong’ really excites me. I play a nurse na love ni Vhong, pero ayoko sa kanya. Ako yung wish niya sa patay, na sana, magustuhan ko rin siya, pero iba nga ang naging resulta, tipong nakakatawang nakakatakot.”

How does she feel doing her sexy scenes with Zanjoe Marudo in “Kristine”? “Marami ngang nagsasabing super sexy daw ang show, but for me, it’s just a job. We never do anything that’s beyond the bounds of decency kasi, siempre, hindi rin naman palulusutin ng MTRCB.”
