Machete”, as one of the three girls who get involved with title-roler Aljur Abrenica. Gwen is quite controversial these days as she’s being linked not only to Aljur but also
to co-star Boy2 Quizon in “Bubble Gang” and to
Vic Sotto after they did “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote”. “I just laugh it off as it’s not true at all,” she says. “Nagulat nga ako kasi hinatid lang ako ni Bossing Vic sa bahay namin after the Parade of Stars, kasi wala akong ride that time. E, he lives in Ayala Alabang while I stay in Las Pinas, so daraan talaga siya sa amin. Tapos nasulat nang lagi akong ihinahatid, e minsan lang nangyari yun.
Si Boy2, co-stars lang talaga kami. As for Aljur, nagte-text kami as friends but wala naman sigurong masama roon. The truth is I’m not ready to have a boyfriend as I promised my parents na trabaho lang muna ang focus ko sa pag-join ko sa showbiz, kaya wag na lang muna sana akong i-link kung kani-kanino. Nakakahiya rin as I’m already being accused of using them para lang ako mapag-usapan.”
