JOBELLE SALVADOR, the daughter of the late Leroy Salvador who did “Bagets” in 1984 and other films with Viva, came home last year and did a short stint in GMA-7’s “Grazilda”. She’s happy it opened doors for her and she’s now playing an even bigger role in “
Alakdana” as Zoila, the evil woman with a golden scorpion who steals Matthew Mendoza from Jean Garcia on their wedding day and causes Jean to give birth to a baby with the tail of an “alakdan”.
“It’s a very good role at dahil dito, I decided not to go back to America muna,” she says. “Na-miss ko rin talaga ang showbiz at ang acting. Iniwan ko muna roon ang anak kong binata who’s now 21 years old. Ang kasama ko rito is my daughter, who’s 10 years old.”
