Nyoy showed us some receipt and checks issued to his former girlfriend. “This will prove na nagbabayad ako kahit di ako ang may utang. Siempre, parents ko yun, so I help them pay her. Kakaunti na nga lang ang natitirang amount. Also, the case she filed against my parents, nasa fiscal’s office pa lang, not even elevated yet sa trial court. All these documents will show na we’re making an effort to pay her back. Yun lang. Gusto ko lang matigil yung palaging sinasabing di kami nagbabayad. I wish Nina all the best in her life and career at sana nga, matapos na ito dahil malapit na kaming maging fully paid sa kanya.”
Nyoy is now a successful musical director after he megged the recent Aliw Theatre concert of Jovit Baldivino. “There’s a plan na dalhin ito sa Music Museum and also sa Cebu, so we’re excited. Aside from this, I’m also promoting my new album and my song ‘Ito ang Pangako Ko’ that was used in ABS-CBN’s Koreanovela, ‘Perfect Match’. After ‘Legally Blonde’, I’m also doing another musical for Atlantis Productions, ‘Into the Heights’, an award-winning Broadway play.”
