Anne Curtis closer to Luis Manzano than Erwan Heusaff

LUIS MANZANO and Anne Curtis are not on but they’re more close to each other than some couples who are officially sweethearts. “For eight years na kasing good friends kami and we didn’t have any secrets with each other,” says Luis. “Kahit anong pinagdaraanan namin, we share with each other and we hope it won’t change kahit tumanda na kami. Kahit na may sarili kaming boyfriend or girlfriend, naiintindihan ng mga ito ang closeness namin ni Anne as friends. Minsan nga, we even go out as a foursome.”

They don’t discount the fact that they might get together later on. “Our friendship will be a good foundation, so puedeng maging kami, but we cannot tell. Only God knows what’s store in the future for us. But right now, enjoy na kami to be given the chance to work with each other. Heto, we’re now paired for the third time in ‘Who’s That Girl?’ Our first movie was ‘All About Love’, followed by ‘Cute ng Ina Mo’. And we really enjoy working with each other.”

Anne plays a nerdy looking girl secretly in love with Luis who doesn’t even know she exist. When she sees his name in the obituary page of a newspaper, she thought Luis is dead and goes to his wake, only to find out she made a mistake as it’s Luis’ dad who died. Luis’ mom, Eugene Domingo, thought she’s her late husband’s mistress and order John Lapus to search for her. Anne is now the new endorser of SM Development Corporation which is co-producing the movie with Viva Films. The question now is: since SM is a co-producer, will Ayala and Robinson cinemas allow the film to be also shown in their theatres?
