REGINE VELASQUEZ and Dingdong Dantes were featured in a Heart to Heart interview last Sunday in “Showbiz Central”. As partners in “I Heart You Pare”, they get to interview each other directly. Dingdong: After the wedding to Ogie Alcasid, anong pinakamalaking nabago sa buhay mo? Regine: “Wala naman. Getting married is wonderful. I highly recommend it. Pag mag-asawa na kayo, mas mahal nyo pa ang isa’t isa.”
Regine: Kailan dapat lumagay sa tahimik ang dalawang taong nagmamahalan?
Dingdong: “It’s a choice kung palagay nyong dalawa kaya nyo ng talunin ang cliff into a better life.” Dingdong: How’s your first month as husband and wife?
Regine: “It’s been great. Pero nagi-guilty ako lately kasi I don’t have time na alagaan siya. But every Saturday, we go to church and have some counselling. We pray together to put God in our center.”
Regine: How close are you to your character, Kenneth, in I Heart You Pare?
Dingdong: “We both don’t judge people, we respect them, even gays.” Dingdong: How did you prepare for your drag queen role?
Regine: “It’s my most difficult role so far kasi I don’t play just one character. I start as a girl, then as a gay, and as a man. Mahirap.”
