LUIS ALANDY is thankful to GMA-7 that after his “markado” role as Dante, the self-sacrificing suitor of Iza Calzado in “
Beauty Queen”, he now plays the lead role in the new afternoon soap, “My Wife, My Lover” that will replace “Koreana” starting February 28. “Nakakatuwa as I play a lead role this time,” he says. “Love triangle kami rito nina Maxene Magalona at Nadine Samonte at pag-aagawan nila ko. Very intriguing ang story kasi it’s a case of pinahiram na mukha. I will die in an accident at yung mukha ko, ililipat kay Marco Alcaraz na nag-coma after an accident. So kailangan, maging kagaya ng kay Marco ang kilos at behavior ko. Girlfriend ko rito si Maxene but after my face was transferred to Marco, kay Nadine ako mapupunta.”
Off-cam, Luis remains loveless. “My last serious relationship was with Desiree del Valle. Since then, pa-date-date lang ako, mostly non-showbiz girls, but nothing really serious.”
He has just finished a new movie, “Deadline”, Director Joel Lamangan’s political film about powerful warlords who kill news people who oppose them. Luis plays the journalist boyfriend of Lovi Poe who gets murdered by an abusive governor, Tirso Cruz III.
