What if she’d get pregnant while still taping “I Heart You Pare”? “Sana wag muna, hintayin na lang until the show ends in May. But in case I do, then I just have to be careful kasi let’s face it, I’m not getting any younger, baka mawala pa. Actually, with me now taping four times a week, bihira na nga kami magkita ng husband ko. Itong show muna ang priority ko and I’m glad understanding si Ogie kahit kung minsan, nagbibiro siyang napapabayaan ko na siya. I apologize naman for the times na wala ako sa bahay. But after the taping of this show, balak talaga namin to go abroad for our delayed honeymoon. Hindi pa siya sure kunsaan kasi pabago-bago isip niya. Dati, sa Italy, ngayon, iba naman ang naiisip niya.”
The “I Heart You Pare” presscon held at Riverbanks Boiler Room was very entertaining. The musical numbers started with Paolo Ballesteros (playing Vodka, the star performer in Club Love) doing “I Am What I Am” with other impersonators. Then the music video for the show’s theme song, “True Romance” written by Janno Gibbs, was shown, sung by Regine. Lookalikes of Regine, Jolina Magdangal and Sheryl Cruz then performed on stage, with Jolina’s uncanny lookalike stealing the show with her comic antics. Then more gays appeared on stage to do Beyonce’s “Single Ladies”. It ends with Regine and Dingdong Dantes singing “This Guy’s In Love with You, Pare”. The show has all the makings of a huge hit, just like Regine’s “Diva”.
