She’s taller at 5’7” but honestly, we believe her mom is much sexier. We met Gloria during her prime and the earthy sensuality she exuded then is still very much palpable up to now as she has aged very gracefully. Isabelle also won’t go sexy like her mom. Although she’s an equestrienne, she dislikes the idea of getting on a horse and sporting a wet look like Gloria did in the 1974 flick “Pinakamagandang Hayop sa Balat ng Lupa”. Her first project for GMA-7, with which she signed a 3-year contract last Tuesday, is a game show with Manny Pacquiao. She’ll also take an intensive acting workshop before she does her first drama.
“I really want to prepare myself first,” says Isabelle who’s born on March 6, 1988 and managed by Leo Dominguez who’s also handling Solenn Heussaff and Lovi Poe, among others.
“Her advantage is she cries so easily,” says GMA exec Annette Abrogar. “She’s fond of watching local films at naiiyak siya while watching dramas.”
A psychology graduate from La Salle, she has started taking up medicine but got stressed by the workload. “Kasi I’m also working. So now, showbiz muna.”
She admits she has a boyfriend, a French executive named Adrian Semblatt who approves of her joining showbiz. Her younger sister, Ava, 19, also wants to join showbiz but their mom wants her to finish college first, just like Isabelle. Gloria showed she’s not a stage mom at all as she didn’t even show up at Isabelle’s contract signing with Atty. Felipe Gozon.
