“It’s really nice to be part of a show that’s warmly accepted by the public,” says R&B Prince Jay-R, who plays Nico, the neighbor of Carla Abellana who’s her secret admirer. “This is my fifth soap and I’m glad to be directed by Joel Lamangan from whom I learning a lot about acting.”
He now sports long hair when his fans came to know him as bald. He says it’s his girlfriend Bb. Pilipinas International Krista Kleiner who told him to let his hair grow. “Ayaw raw niyang kalbo ako. Suwerte naman, nang humaba buhok ko, dumami ang trabaho ko, including ‘Magic Palayok’ na on primetime pa.”
He seems to be seriously in love with Krista. “I am, we’re looking into the possibility of ending up in marriage. But not in the immediate future. We still have to prepare for it muna. Enjoy muna kami sa company ng isa’t isa. Also, pauunahin ko muna sina Kyla at Rich Alvarez. The truth is it’s not easy to have a beauty queen girlfriend.
