Jon Hall and Michelle Madrigal remain good friends after their breakup

JON HALL and Michelle Madrigal gamely sat beside each other when we requested to interview them jointly at the blessing of their manager Annabelle Rama’s office. It’s obvious they’ve remained good friends even after they split. “Oo naman,” says Michelle. “Sayang naman yung pinagsamahan naming two years.”

“I still love Michelle as a friend,” says Jon. “We’ve been through a lot and we have many good memories especially when we did ‘Survivor’ together in Thailand.”

So what’s the reason for their breakup? “I don’t know, I don’t understand it either,” he says.

“Wala, e, ganun lang talaga,” she says. “No third party. We just talked about it. It’s a mutual decision.”

Is there a possibility they’d reconcile? “I’m not closing any doors,” he says.

“Let’s see what will happen in the future,” she says. “Basta as of now, we’re moving on.”

They don’t find it awkward working with each other? “No, we’re together now in ‘Captain Barbell’,” he says.

“Lagi nga kaming magkaeksena roon,” she says. “No problem.”

He plays Rob, the mean boss of Richard Gutierrez who oppresses him. “I like Isabel Oli here, but she likes Richard so I make things difficult for him.”

“Ako naman, I’ll be an ally of Richard as a superhero,” she says.
