THE RIFT BETWEEN boxing champ Nonito Donaire Jr. and his dad, Nonito Donaire Sr. got worse. The older Donaire got hurt when Jr. said he wants to change his name as someone else is using it to get money from his SSS ID, insinuating it’s his dad who’s doing it. The dad now wants to sue his son. Jr’s wife Rachel and her dad, Gerry Marcial, are implicated in it as Nonito Sr believes it’s them who instigate the wrong ideas in Jr’s mind. Jr says Manny Pacquiao is his idol but Manny is very close to his parents, never had a fight with them, even if his dad has long been separated from his Mommy Dionisia. No wonder God gives him so many blessings as he follows the Bible principle of honoring his parents, unlike Nonito Jr who keeps on badmouthing his own dad.
