Regine Velasquez got dizzy in Party Pilipinas

REGINE VELASQUEZ was seen feeling dizzy in “Party Pilipinas” last Sunday and again, there were speculations that she’s already carrying husband Ogie Alcasid’s child. But she quickly denied such rumors, saying she just lacked sleep as she stayed up late the night before when she and Ogie hosted a dinner at their home for their Ukay-Ukay fundraising project for the Kapuso Foundation that will help build new schools around the country. Then she also exerted so much effort while making “birit” in her song numbers, so she felt weak and dizzy. Add to that the fact that she’s really dieting these days to lose weight since she got bigger after taking steroids prescribed by her doctor when she got hospitalized for her throat infection.

“I thought I’d lose the weight I gained after I’ve stopped taking the medication, pero hindi,” she wails.
“Nawala nga yung kauubo ko, pero naiwan naman ito. Hindi naman talaga taba ito kundi manas that makes you look bloated lalo na on TV.”

Meantime, her fans laud her for proving she’s really such a fine comedienne in “I Heart You Pare”. After being a girl, Tonia, pretending to be a gay, Tonette, she’s now a gay, Tonette, pretending to be a man, Tonyboy. How she manages to make herself look credible in such a reversal of roles is a credit to her. “Ako nga mismo, confused na sa identity ko sa show,” she laughs. “But we also have something new to offer. Kasama na namin starting this week si Mark Anthony Fernandez as a cop who also falls in love with me.”
