DIDN’T VALERIE CONCEPCION feel bad when she wasn’t included in the new ABS noontime show after being in “Wowowee” and ‘Win na Win’ for so long? “Hindi naman. Kasi they already told me na sa isang bagong soap ako isasali, with Xyriel Manabat.” She now plays Violet, the reigning dance superstar in TV5’s “Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak”. “Nagpaalam ako sa ABS before I accepted this. Pumayag naman sila. Baka nga magkasabay ang taping ng soap ko with Xyriel dito sa ‘Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak’ ng TV5, kaya I’m back working with two networks. I can’t let go naman of TV5’s offer kasi maganda talaga ang role ko. Bale mistress ako rito ni Richard Gomez, who’s married to Ruffa Gutierrez. I’m so excited to work with them. Ako ang star dancer sa TV station nila at isang fan ko, si Carla Humphries, wants to upstage me, parang sina Christina Aguilera and Kristen Bell sa ‘Burlesque’.”
Didn’t she miss hosting? “Surprisingly, I did not, kasi halos 4 years rin ako sa noontime show, so I enjoyed resting. But when they got me to be a guest host in ‘E Live’, na-realize ko, enjoy pala ko to host a showbiz talk show.”
