He was flattered when some kids called him Machete and told him Machete is better looking than Aljur. He’s familiar to them as they also saw him in “The Last Prince” and “Ilumina”. Winner of Starstruck V as Ultimate Hunk, the PMPC Star Awards as best new male TV personality in 2007 and the Guillermo Mendoza Most Promising Male Star Award, Aljur also has a hit record album to his name. His career continues to blossom with him now doing two new films simultaneously: “Temptation Island” and the Metro filmfest entry “Ang Panday, Ikalawang Yugto”. He’s displaying his chiselled torso once again in “Temptation Island”, where he’ll be bare in most of the film about people marooned in a deserted island, along with co-stars Paulo Avelino and Tom Rodriguez, as the leading men of Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe and Solenn Heussaff.
