AFTER HAVING CO-hosts in “Sis” and “Love ni Mister”, how does Carmina Villaroel feel now that she goes solo in hosting “Amazing Cooking Kids”? “I’m excited. Nalungkot akong wala na ang ‘Love ni Mister’, but I realized ganun naman talaga ang shows, they come and go, but at least, we were given ni Zoren (Legaspi) the chance to host together and we really enjoyed doing it for seven months. So itong ‘Amazing Cooking Kids’, a new experience for me, a new challenge. Hindi ako nagluluto kaya akong ginawang host. Pero bilib ako sa child contestants namin, grabe, ang gagaling talaga nila magluto even if the recipe is complicated at hindi ako nagsasawang tikman lahat ng dishes that they cook in the show. Feeling ko nga, by the end of the show, tataba ako. Pero mahirap maging solo host kasi wala kang kabatuhan. Afterwards, nakakasakit ng lalamunan dahil mag-isa kong dumadaldal. But being with these talented kids compensate for it. Masaya silang katrabaho at parang naglalaro lang kami, ako yung mother hen who takes good care of them. Naging close na nga kami dahil nagkukuwento na sila sa’kin about their personal lives. My worry is kapag nagsimula na ang tanggalan two weeks from now. Tiyak, ako mauunang iiyak ako kapag nabawasan na sila as I can see my own two kids in them. I’m sure magiging emotional ako.”
“Amazing Cooking Kids” starts airing this Saturday just before “Eat Bulaga” on GMA-7.
