Christopher de Leon and wife Sandy Andalong star in opposite shows

CHRISTOPHER DE LEON and wife Sandy Andolong are fighting one another. Sandy is busy in ABS-CBN’s “Mutya” while hubby Christopher de Leon is busy with GMA-7’s “Captain Barbell”. Their shows are now competing directly with each other starting Monday as both of them are scheduled right after the evening newscasts. “Wala naman problema,” says Boyet who’s the main villain, Nero, in “Captain Barbell”. “Ang shows lang naman namin ang magkalaban.”

Although they’re busy with their tapings, they will have to leave for a while in May to visit their two kids, Santino and Mariel, who are now in Auckland, New Zealand along with Alexandra, the daughter of their friends Amy Austria and Duke Ventura who studies there. They all live in the same house. Santino has finished his studies and now works there as a graphic artist while Mariel and Alexa are both taking up culinary arts.
