It’ll be recalled that when Judy Ann Santos got pregnant, she and hubby Ryan Agoncillo also didn’t announce it right away and waited for their doctor’s assurance first that she’s really on the family way. So it’s but natural for Ogie and Regine to wait and make sure first that she’s really infanticipating before making a public declaration of it. Regine told us in our last interview that her doctor said there’s really no reason why she couldn’t get preggy even if she’s 40 years old. The problem now will be her work in “I Heart You Pare” where she plays the lead role and she couldn’t just ask the writers to lessen her scenes in the show. As it is, she is already lessening her exposure to make sure she’s careful and won’t lose her baby. She won’t be seen regularly anymore in “Party Pilipinas” and in Ogie’s fundraising show for OFW’s. This is also the reason why she won’t join Ogie anymore in his Holy Week visit to his daughters in Sydney and why their planned honeymoon in Europe will be called off. We’re told she’ll also giving up on some of her advanced bookings, all for the safety of her baby. The fans and supporters of Regine have expressed their happiness for her pregnancy in Facebook and Twitter. This also means she can no longer shoot to finish her remaining scenes in the long delayed film, "Of All the Things", she's doing with Aga Muhlach.
