Heart Evangelista on why she loves Daniel Matsunaga: 'He's an angel'

HEART EVANGELISTA is busy finishing all her scenes in “Dwarfina” before she goes to Ilocos for the “Temptation Island” shoot. “It’s sad na patapos na ang ‘Dwarfina’. It’s one of the most memorable shows I’ve done,” she says. “Kahit abroad, ang ganda ng feedback from those who watch on GMA News TV. I read the emails na talagang sinusubaybayan ito kahit sa ibang bansa. In its last three weeks, maraming dapat abangan sa show. Napasabak ako sa swordfights. They have to teach me kung paano makipag-espadahan. Yes, nag-action ako rito. Ipamamana sa’kin ang pagiging reyna ng Duwende World but it’ll be a big problem for me as it means iiwan ko na for good ang human world at si Dennis Trillo.”

After ‘Dwarfina’, is she going to Brazil with BF Daniel Matsunaga? “We postponed it due to ‘Temptation Island’. After its shoot, I have to help promote it pa. After it’s shown, dun pa lang kami makakaalis to visit his relatives in Brazil. Baka June na yun.”

What does she like in him? “Mabait siya talaga, really an angel. Hindi naman ako demonyita, ha. He’s now taking Tagalog classes everyday kaya Tagalog na ang usapan namin.” So they’re really serious with each other? “Oo naman. Tinatanong nga ng dad ko if we’d get married na. Sabi ko, hindi pa. Kasi he wants to make sure na secure ang future namin so tutulungan daw niya kami to put up our own business para kahit wala na kami sa showbiz, di kami mahihirapan at mabili naming kung anong gusto naming bilhin. Love ko talaga ang dad ko kasi hindi na siya ganun ka-strict like before.”
