JACKIE RICE looks ravishingly beautiful during the GMAAC shoot. She’s perfectly tanned after being baked in the sun
shooting her launching show Sisid in Anilao, Batangas. “We shoot from 6 AM until sunset at sobrang init ng araw but the waters are so cold kaya nangangatog kami ng co-stars ko. I play a pearl diver in a remote island along with JC Tiuseco, a friend na may gusto sa’kin pero di ko pinapansin. My parents are Angelu de Leon and Daniel Fernando. Dominic Roco is the son of a rich couple, Alicia Mayer and his own dad, Bembol Roco. They want to buy the island where we live. I sell the pearls I get to LJ Reyes and her mom, Maritoni Fernandez. Sa amin iikot ang story. Also with us are Maricar de Mesa, Rich Asuncion and Ian Batherson, directed by Ricky Davao. The shooting was delayed because I had to learn how to swim from zero. My own dad is with the US Navy but he never taught me how to swim. But now, you can take me to the high seas na 40-ft. deep at kaya ko na, also to dive as they taught us scuba diving for the underwater scenes.”
She’s sporting a wet look on cam most of the time. “Nag-diet talaga ko ng husto for this role, but last Saturday, I ate a lot kasi birthday ng dad ko and my mom cooked all the handa kaya napakain ako.” We thought they’ve separated. “Yes, but they’re now talking again. My wish is for them to reconcile talaga.”
