Lovi Poe and Ruffa Mae Quinto are rivals over Fabio Ide

RAYMOND GUTIERREZ had a live interview with Lovi Poe in ‘Showbiz Central’ and asked her how she feels about reports that Brapanese model Fabio Ide has a big crush on her and plans to woo her. She said she’s flattered but she has no time for love at the moment as she’s busy with “Captain Barbell” and is also doing two films for Regal, one of which, “Temptation Island” starts shooting next week. Raymond’s co-host, Rufa Mae Quinto, is part of the cast and what Raymond forgot is that it’s no longer Lovi who’s being linked to Fabio but Rufa Mae herself. The two reportedly got very close to each other while taping together in “Dwarfina”, where Fabio has just joined the cast. It’s said that it’s quite obvious something is going on between them as Rufa Mae even fetches Fabio on the set after his taping.

Rufa Mae interviewed her co-stars in “Temptation Island” where she reprises the role of Deborah Sun as the maid of Jennifer Cortez. Jennifer is now played by Lovi herself. Marian Rivera got the part of Azenith Briones. “Maharot na babae ang role ko and first time ko to do it,” says Marian. Heart Evangelista got the role of Dina Bonnevie who’s a virginal colegiala and pure of heart. Solenn Heussaff inherits the role of Bambi Arambulo as a social climber. The director of the remake, Chris Martinez of “Here Comes the Bride”, is making sure the new version is a tribute to the film’s original creator, the late Joey Gosiengfiao, by renaming all the characters in the movie after previous characters in the movies of Joey. Heart is renamed Virginia P., Rufa Mae is Nympha, Marian is Cristina Gaston (all characters played before by Alma Moreno), Solenn is Pura and Lovi is Serafina.
