“I don’t feel threatened at all,” says Mark. “Mga kapatid ko sila at gaya ko, purong dugong artista ang tumatakbo sa mga ugat nila kaya hindi katakatakang pumasok din sila sa propesyong ito. I’m really happy for them, kasi nang mag-showbiz sila, pareho na silang tapos ng college. Si Renz nga, kaga-graduate lang, may work na agad. I wish them the best at sana mabigyan sila ng challenging roles. I’m sure makakaya nila dahil anak sila ni Lorna Tolentino no less.”
Would he be willing to act with them? “Why not? I’m sure magiging happy ang papa namin if we’re all acting together. Pero malayo sigurong mangyari kasi nga we’re working with different networks. Baka sa pelikula, puede.”
He’s happy to be reunited with Regine in “I Heart You Pare” playing a cop who’s in love with Tonette. “It’s always a pleasure to work with her after we did ‘Kim Sam Soon’ and ‘Diva’. First time ko to work dito with Dingdong Dantes and he’s also very nice to work with kaya enjoy ako kahit guest role lang ako rito. As Chito, ako ang kukumbinsi kay Regine to come out na as Tonya, but there would be complications dahil sa killers na humahabol sa kanya so she’ll have to hide the truth again.”
