Pauleen Luna studying to be a drummer to join all girl band

PAULEEN LUNA finished taping all her remaining scenes as Dwendina in “Dwarfina” as she’s leaving today with the “Eat Bulaga” Dabarkads for their show in Vancouver, Canada this Easter weekend. They will be gone for one week. “We leave April 19 and comeback on April 26,” she says. “Kasama na ang bakasyon.”

When “Dwarfina” started, she was a villain to Heart Evangelista. “Pero bumait na ko ngayon at kumampi na ako kay Heart after the main villain, Angelika de la Cruz, killed Queen Abiana, played by Jackielou Blanco, na siyang nagpalaki sa akin. Taping the last sequences of ‘Dwarfina’ was so hard for all of us kasi biglang uminit na ang panahon pagpasok ng Holy Week. Lagi kaming pawis na pawis, especially when we shot some action scenes in a quarry na nakabilad kami sa matinding sikat ng araw. Tapos, may crying scenes pa ko habang nakatirik ang araw. Dusa talaga. Buti na lang maganda ang samahan ng buong cast. I enjoyed working with Heart, magaan siyang katrabaho.” Top TAPE honcho Tony Tuviera is now training her to be part of an all-girl band. “He saw me playing drums and sent me to learn how to play it well sa best drummer in the country, Mr. Jun Regalado. Ngayon, nakakabasa na ko ng notes. Gusto ko rin mag-aral ng pole dancing, but uunahin ko ang pag-enroll sa culinary arts at Cafe Isabel to learn how to cook.”
