Senior Year gets another Run at Ayala Cinemas

After its theatrical run last March, Senior Year is currently having another run at Trinoma and Glorietta until April 19.

The film was given a Grade A by Cinema Evaluation Board. It was also nominated for Best Picture in the Golden Screen Awards given by Entertainment Press with Jun Nardo as president. The film is also a part of the Asian Digital Competition of the 2011 Hong Kong International Film Festival. It will also be screened at this year’s Jeonju International Film Festival in South Korea.

Senior Year is also endorsed by the Department of Education. Students and teachers are entitled to P30 off the regular ticket price of P150. To avail of the discount, please show your official school ID at the ticket booth.

After, “Confessional” and “Mangatyanan”, or even his “Funeraria” episode in “Shake Rattle & Roll 12”, this film is the lightest of Jerrold Tarug. It’s fairly entertaining with a yucky scene involving gross toilet humor. It tells the story of 10 high school students in their last four months before Graduation in St. Frederick Academy.

In the cast are veterans Dimples Romana, LJ Moreno and Ina Feleo along with a few student-actors.
