Camille Prats happy with career and family life

CAMILLE PRATS is aware she’s not the first choice to play the mother of “Munting Heredera” in GMA-7’s new soap that starts airing tomorrow night after “Captain Barbell”. “I was told replacement lang ako kay Carmina Villaroel but I don’t mind kasi the role is just so good,” she says. “I really welcome this after I played a villain role in ‘Bantatay’. Blessing ito for me. Siguro, it’s really meant para sa akin kaya kahit sabihin pang ako yung tenth choice, I don’t mind and I don’t care. I feel so privileged to be part of this show dahil na-miss ko ring gumawa ng serious drama like this.”

Her son Nathan is now three years old. “When it comes to my family, I can’t complain kasi everything is okay. Even my husband is excited with this new show as he knows I miss doing heavy drama. When I was informed na akong nakuha, he’s the first one I called up para ibalita ito. I’m happy to be working with Mark Anthony Fernandez for the first time, also with Tita Gloria Romero. At yung tatlong bagong batang kasama namin dito, puro magagaling, sina Mona Louise Rey, Barbara Miguel and Kyle Ocampo. I can see myself in them kasi kasintanda ko sila halos when I also started in showbiz as a child star. Kami nga ni Tito Roderick Paulate na kasama rin dito, we share with them our experiences ng child stars pa kami.”

Does she plan to have another child? “Oh yes. We want to have five kids, so apat pa yung hahabulin namin. Kaya lang, wala pang ibinibigay, e.”
