ELLEN ADARNA is enjoying her role as Kat in “Captain Barbell”. “Pinag-agawan ako rito ng Liga ng Kalayaan ni Richard Gutierrez at Puwersa ng Kadiliman ni Christopher de Leon as they both want me to be a member of their group,” she said when the press visited the special set of “
Captain Barbell” at the 36th floor of a tall skyscraper in Chinatown, Binondo. “But in the end, I chose to use my superpowers with the good guys kaya kakampi ako nina Richard dito and the other Liga members like Bea Binene, Michelle Madrigal, Jake Vargas and the rest.”
She’s thankful to GMA-7 for taking good care of her. Aside from “Captain Barbell”, she’s also a part of the Bubblets in “Bubble Gang”. Doesn’t she miss her parents in Cebu where they own a popular chain of hotels? “I do. First time ko to work in Manila and I miss my family in Cebu but they’re all supportive naman kahit ako lang sa family namin ang first na nag-try in having a showbiz career.”
