The end of Mara Clara

NO DOUBT THAT “Mara Clara” boosted the stocks of teen stars Kathryn Bernardo as Mara and Julia Montes as Clara. The hit show gained them a lot of fans and now that it’s about to end, their fans are asking what’s in store for them. Well, Star Cinema has signed them up to a film contract so expect a movie starring them coming up soon. But how do they feel about “Mara Clara” coming to a close soon?

“We both can’t believe na matatapos na siya,” says Julia.

“We have mixed emotions,” says Mara. “Nag-enjoy kami in doing the show kaya malungkot din na magkakahiwalay na kami ng mga kasama namin dito when we’ve become a good team. I’m sure mami-miss naming lahat ang isa’t isa.

Once and for all, are they also fighting in real life just like their roles in the show? “Naku, hindi po,” they both say. “We’re very good friends po sa totoong buhay. Hanggang TV lang ang rivalry namin.”
