JILLIAN Ward stole the scene at the ‘Andres de Saya’ presscon. Comedians Pekto and Chariz Solomon are supposed to give a song number during the intermission but Jillian got the microphone from them and started singing and dancing. She was really a riot, putting everyone in stitches. Pekto and Chariz never got to do their song number but they don’t mind being upstaged by the cute and spunky child actress who plays Jecjec, Cesar Montano’s naughty niece in the show. So which does she enjoy doing more: “Andres de Saya” or “
Captain Barbell” where she plays Richard Gutierrez’ sidekick?
“Magkaiba naman po sila,” says Jillian. “Nag-a-action ako sa ‘Captain Barbell’ kasi tinutulungan ko si Kuya Chard against the bad guys. Dito naman, nagpapatawa po ako. Pero mas gusto ko po ito kaysa kung pinagdadrama ko kasi mas nakakapagod umiyak.”
As of now, she’s studying through a home school program but starting this coming June, she’d enroll in a real school as her mom wants her to experience a real classroom and having classmates. So does she look forward going to school? “Mas gusto ko pong mag-taping,” she says.
