BARBIE FORTEZA and Joshua Dionisio, the lead stars of “Nita Negrita”, won’t have a new soap after it ends.
“We’ll concentrate muna pos a aming pelikula, ‘Tween Hearts the Movie: Class of 2010’,” says Barbie. “But we can still be seen sa TV every Sunday afternoon sa ‘Reel Love Presents Tween Hearts’ na na-extend po hanggang June dahil patuloy na mataas ang rating.”
Doing ‘Nita Negrita’ is quite a torture for Barbie because of the black makeup they apply on her face and skin. “Noong una po, nag-allergy ako so they looked for a better substitute na hindi magre-react negatively ang balat ko. Sa taping, kailangang ako lagi ang mauna kasi lalagyan pa ko ng black makeup. Tapos, matagal ito bago maalis. Mga dalawang sabunan muna. But still, enjoy ako sa show dahil dito ko naipakitang kaya kong mag-heavy drama, lalo rito sa final weeks na puro iyakan talaga ang mga eksena as I get jailed for a crime I didn’t commit. Mababaril ang nanay kong si Lotlot de Leon and the villains, Diana Zubiri and Lexi Fernandez, will continue to conspire to make our lives miserable.”
