JUDY ANN SANTOS celebrated her 2nd wedding anniversary with Ryan Agoncillo last Thursday, April 28. If you’d look at them, it seems like they’re still on their honeymoon stage. What’s their secret? “Enjoy kami sa pagiging mag-asawa,” she says. “Kampante kami at comfortable sa isa’t isa. We’re also best friends who can laugh at each other. We’re very relaxed, no rules and regulations.”
They didn’t have a big celebration on their actual wedding anniversary. “Nag-play lang kami ng video games. But the night before, inasalto kami ng ilang friends to meet our anniversary.” They also invited their friends to a thanksgiving mass and intimate dinner yesterday in their Alabang home. “Kasama na dun ang pasasalamat pati sa coming birthday ko.”
Although she hasn’t really made a showbiz comeback yet, Juday is very much visible now because of her endorsements. After Lactum, she’s now the new endorser of Del Monte Pineapple. So why did Del Monte get her? “We focus on health and wellness and Judy Ann as a wife and mother has a solid background in the culinary arts so she’s perfect for us to endorse Del Monte Pineapple,” says product manager Mary Rose Zamora.
“I really use Del Monte so I’m glad to endorse it,” says Juday. “Puedeng isama ang Del Monte Pineapples sa various dishes like adobo, humba at pancit, parang pinya-level mo ang sarap at sustansiya kasi it’s got fiber, vitamin C, manganese and phythonutrients for health and immunity.”
She’s all set to start hosting “Junior Master Chef”. “We’ll have our dry run this May. They’re building the kitchen now.” Doesn’t she miss acting? “I do, but mas matindi ang pagka-miss ko sa mga anak ko kapag nasa labas ako. May anxiety ako na baka may mangyari sa kanila. I’m supposed to do a movie with Coco Martin, but enjoy akong nasa bahay lang ako with my kids.”
