On TV, she’s busy as Althea in “Captain Barbell”. “I’m really thankful to the Lord for all the blessings coming my way,” she says. “Kahit pagod ako, masaya pa rin as my roles are all good and challenging. I love my role in ‘Temptation Island’ as the rich beauty queen who’s a brat at kaaway ng lahat. Pero on cam lang yun kasi, off cam, maganda samahan namin nina Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Solenn Heussaff and Rufa Mae Quinto. Walang patalbugan. But enjoy talaga ko sa role as it brings out the inner bitch so it’s fun. I’m so maarte I even bring my own yaya in the desert island, si Rufa Mae nga.”
We’ve noticed she has become more daring. In “Temptation Island”, she seduces Aljur Abrenica who plays a male virgin. She’ll have bedscenes with both Dennis and Jake in “My Neighbor’s Wife” and she appeared in her undies in the last Bench fashion show. “After I won best actress awards for ‘Sagrada Familia’ and ‘Mayohan”, I feel okay naman to play more mature roles as I’m not a teenybopper anymore. I have to grow as an actress. As for the Bench fashion show, it’s only when I got there that I found out what I’d wear and, considering how good Bench Body is to me, okay lang yun.”
How come it’s said she hasn’t really broken up with Ronald Singson? “Naku, whatever’s going on in my private life, I’d rather keep it private. All I can say is mas masaya ang kinalalabasan ng buhay ko pag wala akong lovelife.”
