Ruffa Mae Quinto dating someone in the US

RUFFA MAE QUINTO turned 33 on May 28 and “Showbiz Central” treated her to a special birthday presentation last Sunday. She was absent for two weeks as she went to San Francisco allegedly to meet her boyfriend. Interviewed by co-host Raymond Gutierrez, she admitted she’s dating someone in the U.S. but she doesn’t have a boyfriend at the moment. “Wala akong kinakatagpo roon kundi nagbakasyon lang ako as I was so tired after doing ‘Dwarfina’ and shooting ‘Temptation Island’ in the desert of Ilocos na sobrang init,” she says. “But I had to come home na kasi nag-resume na kami ng shoot ng ‘Temptation Island’ tapos nagkasakit ang lola ko na kailangan kong asikasuhin pati mother ko’t mga kapatid kong di na yata nawalan ng problema. Pagbalik ko rito, nanakawan pa ko ng cellfone. Problema rin.”

Her good friend LJ Moreno greeted her live at the studio, along with her stepmom Tita Edna who praised her for being generous to her siblings, just like what she promised to her late dad. There’s also a VTR greeting from her Lola Lucing who said her wish for Ruffa Mae is to get married soon. “86 na ko, gusto ko na magkaapo,” she added.

Last Sunday’s “Showbiz Central” served as a big promo for GMA’s new shows, “Sisid” with Jackie Rice and Rich Asuncion taking the lie detector test in the Don’t Lie to Me portion and “Amaya” with Pia Guanio interviewing live stars Marian Rivera, Glaiza de Castro, Rochelle Pangilinan and Roxanne Barcelo. They also showed the 25th wedding anniversary celebration of Sen. Bong Revilla and Cong. Lani Mercado. During their exchange of marital vows, Lani quipped to Bong: “I expect no more hurts in the you-know-what department”. Bong just laughed on this allusion to his womanizing ways. The full coverage will be shown this coming Sunday on GMA-7.
