Actor-Director Ricky Rivero's horrifying experience should be a lesson to all

WHAT HAPPENED to actor-director Ricky Rivero should be a lesson for all who invite casual acquaintances to sleep in their place. Don’t ever trust someone you just met on Facebook, Twitter or texting since there are so many jobless people these days who resort to doing bad things just to make money or simply do some mischief. Ricky is the son of Phillip Salvador’s sister and started as a child actor in “Ninja Kids” in the 80s. He later became a part of “That’s Entertainment” and is now acting (he was in “Pertang Kabayo” and “Who’s That Girl”) and also directing for ABS-CBN at the same time. He’s a good friend of Rachel Alejandro and we once had lunch with him and Rachel after he lost about 100 lbs. due to exercise and dieting. Ricky was stabbed repeatedly after he refused to give money to Hans Ivan Ruiz, 22 years old. Get well soon, Ricky, from your 17 stab wounds, and be more choosy and careful next time. It’s good Ricky didn’t have the same fate of another ABS-CBN talent who brutally murdered by a male hustler, the late Joel Siervo who was an executive producer for a reality show.
