Carla Abellana doing period films with Laguna Gov. ER Ejercito

CARLA ABELLANA feels sad that the hit show, “Magic Palayok”, is ending next month to be replaced by “Footbulilits”, about kids who play football starring Raymart Santiago and Jennylyn Mercado. “Siempre, mami-miss ko lahat ng kasama ko sa show, including Tita Cherie Gil, Chynna Ortaleza, and Angeli Nicole Sanoy” she says.

What about Geoff Eigenmann? “Magkikita pa rin naman kami noon kahit tapos na ang show,” she beams.

The show ends at a time she’s busy shooting two new films. She’s with Dennis Trillo, Lovi Poe and Jake Cuenca in Regal’s hot sex-drama, “My Neighbor’s Wife”. She’s also doing “Kingpin: The Untold Story of Asiong Salonga” starring Laguna Gov. Jeorge ER Ejercito and directed by Tikoy Aguiluz. She plays Asiong’s first wife in the movie. Also in this action flick is Baron Geisler, who has left rehab and is now back working before the camera. The film has an October playdate. After this, Gov. Ejercito will shoot his Metro filmfest entry, “El Presidente”, again to be megged by Tikoy Aguiluz.
