He plays the role of a cop, Marcus Aguilar, assigned to help Bea Alonzo who’s bridegroom, Jake Cuenca, is murdered on their wedding day. During the investigation, he falls in love with Bea and he’ll figure in a love triangle story with her and Robin. Playing his mother in the show is Pinky Amador as a top military official. “Maganda ang show. Maraming twists and turns that will hook viewers,” he adds.
About his lovelife, Diet says he’s been loveless for sometime even if he’s being linked to Kris Aquino. “Good friends lang talaga kami ni Kris when we did ‘Dalaw’. But we now seldom see each other. Sa history ko, ito na ang longest period na wala akong lovelife. Buti na lang, magagandang projects ang dumarating sa akin. Last year, I did ‘Mamarazzi’ with Eugene Domingo, ‘Sa’Yo Lamang’ with Bea and ‘Dalaw’ nga with Kris. Now, I have ‘Guns and Roses’. I guess you can’t have it all. I don’t look for love. Kusang darating yan.”
His ex-wife, Kristine Hermosa, is now preggy and happy with husband Oyo Sotto. “I’m happy for them also. It’s a big blessing. Okay naman kami and I wish them all the best.”
