Duncan Ramos admits past relationship with Jinkee Pacquiao's twin sister, Janet

DUNCAN RAMOS was only 9 years old when Gary Valenciano introduced him in a show in 1990. Now, 21 years later, and after a 5-year stint with South Border which he left in 2008 after they had some conflict while in the U.S., Duncan finally stages his first solo concert as produced by Front Desk Productions of his Pangga, Jobert Sucaldito. “After South Border, there many offers for me to do a solo show but I felt I wasn’t ready,” he says at the presscon at Zirkoh Bar. “Nasanay kasi ako as a team player sa banda, sa sessionistas. But now, with Pangga Jobert producing, hindi na ko nagdalawang isip. I think it’s time for me to show na hindi lang ako kumakanta, I also dance, so we’ll have big production numbers for this show.”

Duncan says he’s loveless now but he was once linked to Ruffa Mae Quinto and the twin sister of Jinkee Pacquiao, Janet, who was once also linked to former actor Rhene Imperial. “Friends pa rin kami. Si Rufa Mae got tickets for the show. Si Janet, naging kami but now. Mabait siyang tao, madaling mahalin, but because of our busy skeds now, lagi akong umaalis, we just hang out as friends. Manonood din siya ng concert ko.”

Entitled “Unleashing the Knight”, Duncan is hailed as the Knight of R&B and Jobert says the show aims to unleash all his talents as one of today’s most powerful performers. His special guests are Luke Mejares, Jimmy Bondoc, Bossa Nova Queen Sitti, his talented sister Gem Ramos, Prima Diva Billy, singing general Benjie Belarmino and Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai de las Alas who’ll do a sexy number with him. The show will be at Zirkoh Morato on Thursday, June 23, 9pm, sponsored by People’s General Insurance, Mang Inasal, Neal Gonzales, Cong. Mitch Cajayon, Isablea Gov. Bojie Dy, Laguna Gov. ER Ejercito. Tickets available at the gate.
