JENNYLYN MERCADO is excited with her new project, “Footbulilits” with Raymart Santiago and Paolo Contis, that will replace “Magic Palayok” before “24 Oras” starting this coming Monday. “Gusto ko na talagang bumalik in a regular soap after I guested in ‘Captain Barbell’,” she says. “I’m happy rin na ang mga katrabaho ko rito, puro nakatrabaho ko na in the past kaya very comfortable kami sa taping.”
Is it true she and Luis Manzano are now officially on? It’s said Luis now sleeps in her house. “That’s not true. May sarili siyang bahay, no? We’re not on kasi ayoko pa mag-commit, hindi pa ko ready for another relationship kaya single pa rin ako officially. I don’t deny naman na I enjoy Luis’ company kasi masayahin siya. I like his sense of humor, pero hanggang dun na lang muna dahil hindi ako nagmamadali. If ever I’d get into another relationship, hindi ko talaga mamadaliin. Next time, I want to make sure na magkakilala muna kami nang husto bago maging seryoso.”
How about Dennis Trillo, doesn’t she want to talk about him anymore? “Nasabi ko na everything I need to say sa Yes Magazine. Binati ko na rin siya ng Happy Father’s Day sa ‘Showbiz Central’, so hanggang dun na lang muna. Basta, I’ve moved on.”
