John Lloyd Cruz said he has no idea. Someone suggested he should do a film with GF Shaina Magdayao but he said both of them have decided not to be paired with each other in one project so there’ll be no intrigues. Lloydie’s fans who are curious when will they see him next would be pleased to know that Star Cinema has already officially informed that his next film will be one where he’s paired with “Imortal” leading lady
Angel Locsin. Angel’s recent film with
Aga Muhlach, “In the Name of Love”, is a hit (we’re told it earned P120 million during its run, no padding) so it’s not surprising Star Cinema wants her to do another film right away. This is not her only film project as she’s also supposed to do the “Maalaala Mo Kaya” anniversary movie with
Bea Alonzo. The Lloydie-Angel movie will not be a horror flick like “Imortal” but a rom-com to be directed by Lloydie’s favorite box office director, Cathy Molina. While Lloydie is stable in his relationship with Shaina, the same goes for Angel who has very obviously hooked up with footballer Phil Younghousband even if they have yet to admit it. They’re just finished shooting a TV commercial for a tuna brand.
