JOHN LLOYD CRUZ, Gloria Romero, Eddie Garcia, Sid Lucero, Eugene Domingo, Marvin Agustin, Solenn Heussaff, Dominic Roco, Dennis Padilla and Kiray star in ten short films to be shown as part of Nestle Philippines’ centennial celebration. The films are made by TV commercial directors who have megged past Nestle ads: Chris Martinez, AF Benaza, Carlo Directo, Henry Frejas, Raul Jorolan, Stephen Ngo, Jun Reyes and George Agcaoili. The films are of different genres: drama, comedy, musical, fantasy, suspense, adventure, mock-umentary and Shakespearan parody, revolving on various Nestle products like Bear Brand Milk, Nescafe, Milo, Nido, CoffeeMate, Maggi, Nestle Ice Cream, Coco Crunh, Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt and Nestle Fitnesse. Premiere night is on June 10 at SM Megamall. The movies will be shown for free at SM Cinemas on June 11 and 12, and 5 lucky viewers can win P10,000 each by just voting for their favorite short film at the end of the screening. A photo gallery showing the pictures taken while the 10 short films were being made is now going on at SM Megamall up to June 24.

On TV, currently shown is their 100th anniversary TV ad, Kasambuhay Habambuhay or Companion in Life for Life. Nestlé Chairman and CEO John Miller says “The centennial TV commercial is inspired by love for the family, a cultural trait that unites Filipinos. We are grateful Nestlé products have become a part of the Filipino families’ way of life from generation to generation in various stages of their lives.” Nestlé Creative Services Head Leslie Go-Alcantara adds: “We’re very excited to make the films with the Publicist team headed by Matec Villanueva and Jayel Ladioray. We hope they’ll be a meaningful way to please consumers as the centennial celebration is really all about them. Truly, this is a once-in-a-lifetime project.”
