AFTER LEAVING ABS-CBN and doing shows with GMA-7, we were surprised to see Joross Gamboa on the taping of “Babaeng Hampaslupa” as the newest addition to its huge cast. “I will play Philip Cheng, apo ni Eddie Garcia. Kahit bata pa ko rito, I’m already a billionaire. O di ba bagay sa’kin ang role?” he laughs.

He’ll be wearing expensive designer clothes in all his scenes to project the aura of a filthy rich man. “Kakaibang challenge ang maging youngest billionaire. Mage-effort talaga ko na magmukhang mayaman dito, lalo’t some of my lines are in Chinese pa. At di lang yun, I play a dark character, maraming hidden schemes at agenda. Ako naman, I enjoy playing contravida roles kaya when it was offered to me, yes ako agad. Isa pa, I’m aware na maraming nanonood ng ‘Babaeng Hampaslupa’ so I’m really glad to be part of the Book Two of this show.”
